Capacity Assessment- Will

An assessment of capacity conducted in the comfort of the client's own home to evaluate their capacity for instructing or changing a will. A full report will be written up and returned to the solicitor/client within one week of the assessment visit.
Capacity Assessment-COP3
£200
An assessment of mental capacity for the progression of deputyship orders includes face to face assessment and completion of practitioners section of COP3 paperwork. Paperwork will be completed within one week of assessment visit.
Capacity Assessment- Lasting Power of Attorney
£200
A mental capacity assessment for ONE lasting power of attorney. EITHER property and financial affairs OR health and welfare. See below for prices for both.

Capacity Assessment for BOTH Lasting Powers of Attorney of the same client

Oftentimes, clients wish to take out both Lasting Powers of Attorney at the same time. This price includes mental capacity assessments for BOTH LPA for property and financial affairs AND LPA for health and welfare. Both conducted during the same visit. Paperwork completed within a week of the assessment visit.
Capacity Assessments for a will AND both LPAs

This option includes three independent capacity assessments (of the same client at the same visit).
1) Capacity assessment for LPA property and financial affairs
AND
2) Capacity assessment for LPA health and welfare
AND
3) Capacity assessment for making/changing a will.
All three mental capacity assessments are covered, with the assessment visit taking place in the client's own home and paperwork completed within a week of the assessment.
